My incident with "The big people"

so since i'm a student in a foreign country, its only normal to submit my passport every six months or every year (depending on your attendance, exam results etc) for visa renewal.

I've been in this country for 3 years now, and i've never been so pissed off at the immigration as i am now.

So here is the story:

My visa was expiring sometime around april this year so i went down to the immigration counter at my university to give them my passport for renewal. usually the process takes less than 2 months, but they just tell you to come after 2 months, just in case, i guess. which was perfect for me because in june i was finishing my termly exams, and i wanted to go back home, see my family and all.

Now june comes, i'm done with my exams, pumped up and excited about going back home to see my family, i proceed to go down to the counter to collect my passport, only to be told that my passport is not ready yet.

*PAUSE*

WHY IS MY PASSPORT NOT READY YET?! WELL BECAUSE THE IMMIGRATION HAD A SYSTEM BREAKDOWN... SAY WHAAAT?!

yes a system breakdown. why on earth would i be told this after 2 MONTHS? so 2 months they've been just sitting around waiting for the damn system to fix itself? I mean 2 months is a long time! why would they tell me such a thing when its time for me to receive my passport?!

It didn't make any sense. I was furious, and still am! I have plans. its not my fault that your system is not working. i've waited for 2 months, and i've come to collect my passport on the day i was told to come, it wasn't like i came earlier or anything!

anyway, its past the due date of collection now, and i'm still waiting, and my holiday is passing by...

The Intro

So this is my first post on my blog, and i'm excited! I've always liked writing, but never committed 100% so i'd try my best to make sure i have regular entries, every once in awhile :)

At this point, I really have no ideas or stories but lets just rant about how excited i am to have a blog.

THE BLOG will basically encompass a variety of topics and random stories, something like a memoir. I'm doing some soul searching currently, actually been doing it for quite sometime. Reading HOLY books and all, so i would probably, in the near future make an entry about that. I'm also currently having an issue with my passport, YES my passport! which is making me go nuts, and that would probably be my next entry, and some more random fun, exciting (I hope) entries to come.

Since this post is called The Intro, might aswell give a brief introduction about myself. Im a lady, aged 20, Im pursuing my bachelors degree, majoring in International Business Management and I live in Kuala Lumpur.

So anyway, I hope this blog experiment turns out ok.

Cheers
